Founded in 2012, Salmarcon immediately became KLINGER's top distributor in Turkey.

KLINGER's strategy in key markets is to engage into a close cooperation with companies delivering high-quality industrial sealing products, fluid control, gaskets, bolts, nuts, stud bolds, washers, and associated services. Salmarcon was a perfect match and has since the early stages of the cooperation more than tripled the turnover of Klinger in Turkey. The history of Salmarcon starts off with KLINGER Dichtungstechnik actively looking for Turkish sales representatives back in the days.

As KDT's former Sales Manager Hans Forstner remembers: "In the application process, Kaya Kaya immediately made clear that he was the right guy. He was only 28, came fresh out of one of the country's most prestigious universities, had a profound insight into the Turkish market, and was looking for a challenge."

On site at the Gumpoldskirchen factory, Kaya Kaya dived deep into the specifics of each product he was about to put on the Turkish market. Back in Turkey, he instantly got in contact with potential customers. Following Salmarcon was established in 2012. “I built shelves myself and must have carried 2, maybe 3 tons of material with my own hands” remembers Kaya Kaya.

Still today the connection between Klinger and Salmarcon is close. The two-way support developing products, solutions and markets is ongoing at an incredible speed and with a success no one had foreseen more than 10 years ago.

From 200m2 and 2 people to 15.000m2 and more than 50 employees in just 11 years.

The beginnings of Salmarcon were modest: just one room, 40 m2, no heating, no air conditioning. The daily tasks were all handled by Kaya Kaya who quickly hired an assistant who is still with Salmarcon, a driver, and rented a small storage space. They built the warehouse shelves by themselves and must have carried 2, maybe 3 tons of material with hands.

In November 2013 Feridun Ozok, joined the company as Technical Coordinator and consultant. This move in cooperation with the vision of Kaya Kaya put Salmarcon up to a speedy development.Today; just 11 years after establishing, Salmarcon covers more than a 15.000m2 active area located in Canakkale with more than 50 employees, cca. 4.000m2 office space and 11.000m2 production and warehouse area.

Our production is offering a wide range of machinery assuring top quality, timely and fast supply as well as a very flexible organization. Amongst others we supply:

Salmarcon is located a little south of Istanbul in an area Canakkale. To assure top-quality gasket products we constantly expand our capabilities and stream our processes to assure immediate reactions. In the production facilities we find that the plant is set up by learning from the actual market demands.
This is assuring that we can listen to the needs of our customers, and those wishing to become our customer, as well as we are putting a great focus on education of our people. This combination is assuring we always can offer the highest quality of precisely produced products.

Salmarcon is spreading its reach and entered into Romania

In November 2021, Salmarcon opened a new branch in Bucharest, Romania to supply customers with the high quality sealing products and services there as well. Following the example of Turkey the start is modest and healthy with a Bucharest located warehouse and sales office.

Currently all finished goods are supplied from the Turkish production facility assuring a wide number of constantly available products for the Romanian marketplace. As soon as the need arrive the activities will be expanded to include a production facility possible to deliver fast and precise sealing solutions.

For us one of the keys to maintaining good customer relationships, is through consistent communication and on-time delivery. Delivering on-time and in-full requires attention to the needs of our customers. Therefor the plan is to fully utilize our warehouse for their security stock as well as we are flexible to assure 24/7 urgency service.
After a little less than a year of activities in Romania we are now servicing more than 10 customers on repetitive base with a mixture of Soft sealing products, semi-metals as well as fasteners and the like.

Our new customers are from various fields such as Oil & Gas, Automotive, Potable water, Energy and the Petro Chemical industries.
